I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Mr. David Griffin, Chief of Police for the Murfreesboro Police Department, and the town’s police officers, as well as Hertford County Sheriff Mr. Dexter Hayes for their presence on Saturday, June 19, 2021.

This was the first Juneteenth celebration at Riverside Park in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Their support of our community is greatly appreciated.
