WINTON – Mrs. Mabelle Williams Archer, age 100, a native of Hertford County, succumbed April 24, 2021 at Vidant Hospital, Ahoskie, NC.

Her service will be held at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Winton, NC on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at First Baptist Cemetery, Winton.

Survivors include one aunt, Mildred V. Charity of Winton; a brother, John D. Williams (Virginia) of Ahoskie; three daughters, Zenobia A. Williams of Como, Alberta Archer of Winton, and Doris Archer (William) of Newport News, VA; three granddaughters; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Archer was the wife of the late Elbert (Possie) Archer of Winton, NC.

Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
