Windsor murder probe underway

WINDSOR – The Windsor Police are investigating a homicide that occurred overnight.

Windsor Police Chief Justin Jackson said the investigation is in its early stages and could not release much information to the public at this time.

Jackson said the homicide occurred at a residence on North King Street in the early morning hours of Friday. He stated the homicide involved a single victim, but stopped short of identifying the gender of that individual or providing information on how they were murdered.

There was no information shared about a suspect or a possible motive.
