COMO – Patsy Bailey Parker, 84, went to be with her Lord, February 9, 2021. She was born in Southampton County, and grew up in Como, N.C. She was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and Chowan College. She was retired from Royster – Clark Chemical Company in Conway, N.C., with over 20 years of service, as the office manager. Patsy was a longtime member of Buckhorn Baptist Church and enjoyed singing in the choir.

She was predeceased by her husband of 26 years, Madison Parker, Jr.; her parents, Olie Majette Bailey and Lessie Hatfield Bailey; three sisters, Olie Mae Culpepper, Doris Joyner Bryant and Brenda Jean Futrell; and a brother, C.C. Bailey.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mia P. Williams and her husband Chuck of Pinetown, N.C.; a brother, Wayne Bailey and his wife Judy of Franklin; two grandchildren, Ashley Alexander and her husband Richard of Como, N.C., Megan Vaughan and her husband Aaron of Union, N.C.; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Harper Alexander, and Jackson Parker Alexander.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 12, 2021 in Buckhorn Baptist Church, with Rev. Bob Deacon officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Buckhorn Baptist Church.
