COLERAIN – Cindy “CindyLou” Ruffin of Colerain, NC answered the Master’s Call on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

She was born on December 9, 1957 to the late Willie Green Ruffin and Virginia “Sis” Perry Ruffin in Bertie Co., NC. Cindy was a dedicated secretary and served faithfully as the “Mother” of Hunter’s Funeral Home. Our hearts are broken but we are grateful for such a special individual.

She leaves to cherish her memories: (2) sisters, Deressa Miller of Hopewell, VA and Marilyn Holloman of Ahoskie, NC; (1) brother, William Terry Ruffin (Joyce) of Jamaica, NY; (8) nieces and nephews, Mark Ruffin, Cynthia Ruffin, Jackie Taylor, Crystal Perry, Ashley Perry, Jaquita Ruffin, Jason Ruffin and Tobias Ruffin; (8) great nieces and nephews; extended family, Howard and Lori Hunter and the entire staff of Hunter’s Funeral Home; (4) adopted grandchildren- Montario, Mariah, Zaria and Kayla (her Kayla Bug), a host of cousins, other relatives and many, many friends.

Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Colerain.
