MILLENNIUM – David Henry Vaughan, age 76, passed away on December 11, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Vaughan was born in Hertford County on May 22, 1944, a son of the late to Elmer Griffith and Josephine Ellis Vaughan. He worked as a truck driver for many years as long as his health permitted. David will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his special friend and longtime companion, Marie Vaughan.

Left to cherish his memory is his brother, Garland Vaughan and wife, Wini of Ahoskie, NC; three sisters, Eva Sue Johnson and husband, Andy of Jackson, NC, Josie Vaughan of Greenville, NC, and Jane Vick and husband, Elton Ray of Suffolk, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside celebration of life memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2020, at 1 p.m. at the Job Cemetery, Aulander, NC, with Rev. Josh Butler, officiating.
