AHOSKIE, NC – Cleance Novella Perkins Jones departed this life on Monday, December 1, 2020 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, North Carolina.

“I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course. I have kept the faith.” II Timothy 4:7

She was born April 3, 1938 in Williamston, North Carolina to Raleigh Perkins and Lossie (Baker) Perkins.

She is survived by three sons, Gregory Perkins Sr., Gary Clemons, and Jeffrey Clemons; four grandchildren, Essence Jackson, Gregory Perkins Jr., Chantel Clemons Kelly, and Kaliah Bender; seven great- grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
