KELFORD – Faye Baker Fulton, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at her home.
Mrs. Fulton was born on February 17, 1941 to Roy Neiceman Baker and Mary Lucy Shoulars Baker in Bertie County, NC. Faye was one of fourteen children was always proud of her large family. She was kindhearted and spent her life taking care of her family. She enjoyed arts, crafts, reading, spending time with her family, and traveling when she got the opportunity to do so. Faye took care of many children over her lifetime and showed a life for Christ. Faye will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Along with her parents, Faye was preceded in death by ten of her thirteen siblings; sisters, Alice Alberta Baker, Dorothy Leigh Baker, Lucy Lake Baker, Beulah Baker White, Clara Baker Showalter, and Helen Baker Robbins; and brothers, Frank, Edward, Sam, and Robert Earl Baker.
Faye is survived by her husband, Arthur; two sons, Curtis Fulton, and Roger Fulton; two daughters, Wanda Fulton Drewry and husband Paul Timothy, and Sherry Spence and husband Edgar, Sr.; two sisters; one brother; one sister-in-law, and one brother-in-law; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 24, 2020, from 1-1:45 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with a celebration of life funeral service to follow at 2 p.m. at the church, with Rev. Mickey Willard officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens in Ahoskie, NC.
