JACKSON – As of Monday morning (March 23), all Northampton County local government offices are closed to the public until further notice.

This announcement comes in response to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic and after the county reported its first confirmed positive case.

“This closure is for your protection to ensure we limit the spread of the virus to our local citizens and employees,” said County Manager Charles Jackson. “Thank you for your cooperation in lessening the spread of this virus.”

County staff will continue to work in their offices, but public access will remain by phone or email only for now.
