AHOSKIE – Vera Virginia West, 86, of Ahoskie died Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Piney Wood Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Ahoskie. Burial will follow in the Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander. Wilder’s Funeral Home, Aulander, is handling the arrangements.
