CHESAPEAKE, VA – Mary Elizabeth Cherry, 79, of Chesapeake, VA, formerly of Bertie County, died Monday, August 26, 2019 at Sentara Nursing Center, Chesapeake, VA. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the chapel of Wilder’s Funeral Home, Rich Square, who is handling the arrangements. Burial will follow in the Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
