CONWAY, NC – Henry Jacob Campbell, 85, joined our Heavenly Father on May 16, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Lynn Campbell; mother, Mary Lou Condor Campbell; sister, Nancy Carol Monroe; and brother, Edgar Franklin Campbell.

He served in education for 40 years as a Teacher, Coach, Principal, & Headmaster in North Carolina and Florida. He’s most fondly remembered for his 24 years as Principal at Northampton-East and his five years as Headmaster at Northeast Academy. He continued coaching Girl’s Tennis at Northeast Academy through the Fall of 2018.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Marjorie Warren Campbell; and his children, Mary Jane and husband Johnny, Carol and husband Bob, and Rob and wife Paula. He’s also survived by grandchildren, Bobby, Jessie, Rebecca, Avery, and Reagan; and great-grandchildren, Dillon, Jacob, and Ivy.

Visitation will be held at Bridgers Funeral Home in Conway on Tuesday, May 21 at 7 pm.

Funeral services will be held at Conway United Methodist Church on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice or Conway United Methodist Church.
