CONWAY, NC – Steven Winston Joyner, age 45, passed away on December 7, 2018 at the Fresenius Dialysis Center of Conway, NC.

Mr. Joyner was born in Hertford County on December 21, 1972, the son of Elizabeth Futrell Joyner and the now late Dennis Joyner. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping. He was an animal lover, especially dogs, and especially his Pedro. Steve was a member of Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother; his two sisters, Beth J. Biggy and husband, Matthew of Murfreesboro, NC, and Samantha Joyner of Woodland, NC; and three special nephews, whom he dearly loved, Ayden Lassiter, Quintin Lassiter, and Josius Lassiter of Woodland, NC.

The family will receive friends at any time at the home.

A celebration of life memorial service was held on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Ashley’s Grove Baptist Church, Conway, NC, with Rev. David Ross officiating.
