PALM COAST, FL – On November 21, 2018 beloved Shannon Charlene Taylor, 49, passed away peacefully at her home in Palm Coast, FL. She was from Raleigh, NC.

She graduated with a BA from ECU University. Children were her love and her career. She had been working as a Recreation Assistant Manager at Hammock Beach Resort at Palm Coast, FL. for the past five years.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, James Taylor; paternal grandparents, Julian Romaine Taylor and Blanche Taylor; and maternal grandparents, Swan Russell Fielden and Elizabeth Emily Fielden. Shannon was the great granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mervin R. Taylor of Winton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Watson Fairless of Harrellsville, NC.

She is survived by life partner, Dustin Stewart, and his two children Ashton and Ashlee. She helped raise Ashton and Ashlee for the past seven years, and they thought of her as their mother. She is also survived by her mother, Sharon Taylor; a sister, Kelly Taylor; a nephew, Dylan Beamer (Sarah & Everton); a niece, Lily Gunter; her beloved Uncle, Russell “Uncle Rusty” and Aunt Debbie Fielden, Uncle Julian R. Taylor, Uncle Joseph C. Taylor, Aunt Jerrie Taylor, and cousins Alice, Jane, Hinton, Anna, and Margaret.

An informal “Celebration of Life” gathering will be held Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 160 Old Plantation Drive, East, Beaufort, SC 29907 (Lady’s Island) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Please come and join us for a celebration of Shannon’s life.
