MURFREESBORO, NC – Roger Duane Barnack, age 62 of Murfreesboro, passed away on September 20, 2018 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.

He was born on July 27, 1956 to the Delbert and Dorothy Barnack in Billings, MT. Roger worked with his father as a plant manager for Fabco Inc. for many years. Roger was a founding member of The Dragonflies Motorcycle Club and loved riding motorcycles with his buddies. He also enjoyed camping and fishing the rivers and lakes of North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by his father, Delbert Franklin Barnack; sister, Nancy B. Goode; and brother, Steven Leo Barnack.

Roger is survived by his mother, Dorothy Anna Barnack of the home; sister, Mary Ann Barnack and her husband George Givens of Cary, NC; daughter, Mirinda Barnack Foster of Snow Camp, NC; son, Christopher Daniel Barnack of Haw River, NC; granddaughter, LauraLynn Christine Foster of Snow Camp, NC; and grandson, Jaxon Barnack of Haw River, NC. Also surviving is a niece, Meredith M. Givens of Raleigh, NC; nephew, Gregory F. Givens of Cary, NC; nephew, Andrew R. Givens of Wartburg, TN; and a grandniece, Emma Jean Givens of Sanford, NC.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at Garrett-Sykes Memorial Chapel of Murfreesboro, NC.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at11:00 am at the Meherrin Baptist Church Cemetery in Murfreesboro, NC. The Reverend John Porter will be presiding.
