WINDSOR, NC – Allen Gail White, age 71, passed away on August 28, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. White was born on August 16, 1947 to Warren and Nettie Jernigan White in Windsor, NC. Allen was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church serving in different capacities, such as serving as a deacon and working with the men’s ministry. He cherished his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Allen enjoyed fishing and went every chance he had. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.

Allen is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Eric Allen White and wife Michelle of Ahoskie; daughter, Holly Renee White of Windsor; two step-daughters, Kim Rawls of Ahoskie, and Debbie Futrell and husband Jonathan of Murfreesboro, brother, Bennie White and wife Judy of Windsor; two sisters, Frances Perry and husband Billy of Windsor, and Shirley Powell and husband Bud of Edenton; four granddaughters, Kaela White and fiancé Peter Johnson, Brianna White, Lauren Coley, and Madison Rawls; two grandsons, Hunter Coley and Dustin Futrell, a great-granddaughter, Harley Brock; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held, Thursday, August 30, 2018, at 10:00 am at Highland Memorial Gardens, Ahoskie, NC, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 at Union Baptist Church, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Greg Powell officiating, and Don Polvadore assisting. The family will receive friends following the memorial service in the sanctuary.
