Larry E. Snow

CONWAY, NC – Larry Eugene “Snowman” Snow, 74, died August 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

A native of Conway, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1973 with tours in Korea, Germany, and Viet Nam. He retired after working in Industrial Maintenance and, then, as a Service Technician with the American Gas Company (AMERIGAS). He was best known as a kind, friendly, and generous man who loved to play jokes and to bring smiles and joy to those around him.

Larry had been preceded in death by his parents, Harold “Hank” Snow and Gladys Whitt Snow; and a brother, Donald Ray Snow.

His survivors include Anne Carlton Snow, wife, of their home; one son, Scott Roshaven and wife, Elizabeth, of Alabama; Brian Snow of Franklin; stepson, Eugene Archer (Nicole); stepdaughter, Julie Engel; numerous grandchildren; brother, Jonathan Snow of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister Brenda Martin (Jeff) of Missoula, Montana; and a very large number of special friends and neighbors, including Timmy Drake and Shorty Smith who were very dear to him.

A visitation for Larry will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2018 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Bridgers Funeral Home, Inc. in Conway, and his graveside funeral service with Army Military Funeral Honors will be held on Monday, August 27 at 11 a.m. in the Town of Conway Cemetery. Rev. Willie McLawhorn will conduct the Graveside Service.
