GREENVILLE, NC – Jason Earl Eure, 40, of Holden Drive, Greenville, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 in his home.

Born in Hertford County on August 31, 1977, he was the son of Barbara Tinkham Eure of Greenville and the late Bobby Earl Eure. Employed as a carpenter, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and also loved to play golf.

In addition to his mother, surviving are his son, Hunter Eure of Aulander; two sisters, Donna Sugg and Beverly Copeland, both of Greenville; an aunt, Kathy Blowe and husband, Jerry; an uncle, Roland Tinkham; two nieces, Brandi Heinrich and Brittany Culpepper; two nephews, Ryan Perry and Austin Mansfield; and four great-nieces, Chloe and Kennedy Heinrich, and Kelsie and Ava Culpepper.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and will be conducted by Pastor Darrell Ange. A private burial will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends may join the family Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
