SUNBURY – Essie P. Lawton, 92, of Sunbury died Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Accordius Health at Creekside, Ahoskie. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Sunbury. Burial will be in the Gatling Cemetery, Sunday. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
