LIMESTONE, TN – Jerry Lee Holloman, 62, of Limestone, TN, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 20, 2018.

He was born July 27, 1955. In 1974, Jerry became the youngest licensed electrician in North Carolina. He planned on taking over Holloman Electric Company until he sustained a traumatic brain injury in both 1978 and 1985.

Jerry lived in Aulander, NC until May 2004 when he moved to the Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center to be closer to his sisters. Throughout the years, despite his injuries, Jerry was always thankful, appreciative, and never gave up or asked why me. Jerry loved his family and friends. We will miss Jerry’s smile, laugh, and his love for life.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Elaine and Junious Holloman, both of Aulander, NC.

Jerry is survived by his sisters, both of Kingsport, TN, Patricia (Gary) Godsey and June (Richard) Siggins; nephews, Joseph (Maria) Godsey, Patrick (Kristin) Godsey, and Timothy (Ash) Siggins; niece, Holly Siggins; great-nieces and great-nephews and several cousins.

Special thanks to the wonderful Crumley House Staff through the years and the Indian Path Medical Center Staff in the last weeks of his life. We greatly appreciate their kindness, care and professionalism.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Crumley House 300 Urbana Rd, Limestone, TN 37681 at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, July 25th.

A visitation will be held at Garrett-Sykes Funeral Home, 205 NC Highway 42 West, Ahoskie, NC 27910, from 1:00-2:00 pm on Saturday, July 28th, with a funeral at 2:00 pm and a burial to follow at Ahoskie Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Crumley House 300 Urbana Rd, Limestone, TN 37681 or Aulander Baptist Church
