WINTON, NC – Ronald Keith Cotton, age 63, passed away on June 30, 2018 at his home in Tunis Village surrounded by his family.

Mr. Cotton was born on October 14, 1954 to James Erwin Cotton, Sr. and Helen Taylor Cotton in Hertford County, NC. A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Ronnie was dedicated to his family. He was a farmer all of his life, always providing for them. Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Besides his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his son, Keith Irving Cotton.

Ronnie is survived by his wife Debbie; daughter, Brittany Conner of Merry Hill; two step-sons, Lee White of Cofield, and J. A. Williford and wife Brittany of Windsor; three grandsons, Bryce Conner of Merry Hill, Harrison Williford of Windsor, and Liam White of Cofield; three granddaughters, Briley Conner of Merry Hill, Heidi Pierce of Merry Hill, and Madison White of Cofield; a brother, James Erwin Cotton Jr. and wife Rhonda of Cofield; a niece, Jaime Ambrose of Winton; and a nephew, David Ray Cotton and wife Amanda of Siler City, NC.

The family will receive friends at the home.

A celebration of life funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Harrellsville United Methodist Church, Harrellsville, NC, with Rev. Walter Johnston III, and Rev. Dennis Adams, officiating. Burial will follow at Harrellsville Cemetery.
