GATES – Barbara Joan Whitehurst Allen, 85, of Hazelton Road, Gates, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at in Savage’s United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, is handling the arrangements.
