ATLANTA, GA – Christopher G. Vaughan, age 58, died at home on April 17, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.

Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents and parents: Laura and Henry Vaughan, Dorothy and Ernest P. Daniels, Jacqueline D. Spivey and James Riddick.

He leaves to miss him, his sisters and brothers: Katrina (Carlton) Wiggins, David L. Daniels of Ahoskie, NC, Dwayne Daniels of Newport News, VA, Randy (Sandra) Vaughan, also of Ahoskie, NC, Rita Riddick of California; and a brother-like cousin, Andre K. (Alethia) Daniels of Durham, NC; an aunt, Margretta M. Daniels of Ahoskie, NC; an uncle, Leroy Dukes of Chesapeake, VA; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

As a young boy, Chris accompanied his grandmother Laura to Calvary Baptist Church, and his Daniels grandparents to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Chris graduated from Hertford County High School in 1976 after only three years following in the footsteps of his sister Katrina. He pursued higher education successfully at A&T University where he enjoyed being in the marching band. Upon graduation he settled in Atlanta, GA. He soon began working at Suntrust Bank and was promoted to General Manager at one of its branches.

A memorial service will be held at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home in Atlanta, GA on Saturday, May 26, 2018.
