RICH SQUARE – Lola Mae “Punkin” Edwards Whitaker Baugham, 78, of Rich Square peacefully departed this life on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at home. She began her journey through life on December 20, 1939, to the parentage of the late Marie Edwards and Willie Mitchell.

Cherish memories will forever remain in the hearts of her two daughters, Lola E. Burroughs (Steve) of Marietta, Georgia, and Evelyn Whitaker Cherry

of Murfreesboro, North Carolina; two granddaughters, Makita Winston and Queshia Cherry; one grandson, Alden Burroughs; three great-grandchildren, Emonjaleya, Amontraz, and Amazeyana; three sisters, Hattie Harper of Orange, New Jersey, and Carolyn Edwards and Yvette Edwards of Conway, North Carolina; one brother, Bernard Edwards of East Orange, New Jersey; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

2018. L. Faison’s Funeral Care, LLC of Seaboard is handling the arrangements where she will lie in repose from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, April 29, 2018.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at J. W. Faison Memorial Chapel in Seaboard with the family present one hour prior to service. Rev. Dr. Veronica Loftin will deliver words of comfort.

She will be laid to rest in the Edwards Family Cemetery in Conway.
