Bill Taylor Jr.

GREENSBORO, NC – William H. (Bill) Taylor, Jr., 67, passed away at Beacon Place on April 25, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Lucille Taylor and William H. Taylor, Sr., and sister, Eunice Gray Taylor of Rich Square, NC.

He is survived by sisters, Kathleen Hoyt of Norwich, VT and Mary Jenkins, along with brother-in-law, Dick Jenkins of Rocky Mount, NC as well as

nephews Mike and Chris Hoyt, Rick Jenkins, niece Nicole Askew, and best friend Robert Norton.

A lifelong educator, Bill taught chemistry and art at the high school level in Alamance County before pursuing an MBA degree at East Carolina University. Bill came to Greensboro to teach in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. Bill had a strong interest in working with non-traditional adult learners and retired from UNCG’s Division of Continual Learning in 2010.

Honoring his wishes, no memorial service will be held.
