WINTON – Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast will host a recruitment event to welcome girls into Girl Scouts, the world’s largest girl-led organization.

This recruitment event will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 at the Hertford County Public Library, located at 303 West Tryon Street in Winton.

The event is an opportunity to learn all about Girl Scouts and why it’s important, now more than ever, to have girls involved in activities that work to build courage, confidence and character so Girl Scouts can make the world a better place. For 106 years, Girl Scouts has played a large role in millions of girls’ lives. Today, girls continue to impact their peers and community through Girl Scouts.

Parents and caregivers are also invited to join as volunteers and troop helpers. Help introduce girls to new experiences that show them they are capable or more than they ever imagined!
