Parker retires from Hertford County DSS
WINTON – Hertford County Department of Social Services Board recognized Phyllis Parker on Feb. 23 with a luncheon and a plaque for her dedicated 25 years of service.
Parker began her employment with Social Services as a Data Entry Clerk on Nov. 30, 1992. She also worked as an Income Maintenance Caseworker II and retired from Social Services as a Processing Assistant IV.
Parker was very passionate about her duties. DSS and the county truly appreciates her dedication.

Parker is the mother of two: a son, Marlon Parker, and a daughter, Feggin Parker. Phyllis is the daughter of late Glaston and Louvenia Parker.
“We will truly miss her presence in the office. We wish her a happy, relaxing, and enjoyable retirement,” stated her DSS co-workers.
