LEWISTON – Clarence Barrington Truman McGlone, better known as “Barry”, 64, of Lewiston, NC departed this life on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at his residence.

A native of Bertie County, he was born on November 20, 1953 to Colleen Peele McGlone and the late Clarence McGlone. He was an educator for the Bertie County Public Schools.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sandra Williams-McGlone of the home; his mother, Colleen P. McGlone of Lewiston, NC; two sons, Titus McGlone (Shevaun) of Glenarden, MD and Tyrus McGlone of Washington, DC; four grandchildren; aunt, Ollie Bond of Lewiston, NC; uncle, Floyd McGlone, Sr. of Florida; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Hunter’s Funeral Home of Ahoskie.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Bertie County High School.
