AHOSKIE, NC – Larry Wayne Morris, age 63, passed away on March 4, 2018 at the Pinewood Manor Assisted Living of Ahoskie, NC.

Larry was born on January 22, 1955 to the late Jerry C. and Nellie Dickens Morris in Bertie County, North Carolina. Larry worked as a carpenter in construction work as long as his health permitted. He has always enjoyed hunting and playing baseball. Larry will be missed by his family and friends.

Larry is survived by his two sisters, Shirley Lassiter and husband Mike, and Sue Cox and husband Warren, both of Aulander, NC; his brother, Jerry Morris and wife Debbie of Ahoskie, NC; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Grant-Morris Family Cemetery, Horace Vick Road, Roxobel, NC, with Rev. Taylor Latham, officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery and other times and the home of Shirley and Mike Lassiter.
