LOUISBURG, NC – Kate McMillan Felton, 74, of Louisburg, died Saturday at Rex Hospital.

Kate was born in Gates County, a daughter of the late Jack Felton and Elizabeth B. Felton. She was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church and retired from the N.C. Industrial Commission.

A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Kate is survived by her sisters, Debbie Bland of Murfreesboro, and Denise Felton of Gatesville; and a brother, Billy Felton of Stallings.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 351 T. Kemp Rd. Louisburg, NC 27549.
