PORTSMOUTH, VA – Vernon Lee Slade Sr., 85, of Portsmouth, VA, formerly of Colerain, died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Maryview Medical Center, Portsmouth, VA. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Colerain. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
