AHOSKIE, NC – Cecile Marie Hoos Lemons, age 80, passed away on December 17, 2017 at the Vidant Medical Center of Greenville, NC.

Mrs. Lemons was born in Hastings, MI, on November 2, 1937, the daughter of the late John and Cecil Brock Hoos. Cecile had a double Master’s Degree in Education and was a retired school teacher.

Cecile is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Albert Leslie Lemons; her daughter, Andrea Lemons Bradley and husband, Kenny of Ahoskie, NC; her son, Michael Van Patrick Lemons and wife, Cheryl of Hilo, HA; two brothers, James Arthur Hoos of Florida, and John Henry Hoos of Missouri; two granddaughters, Lauren Rawls and husband, Travis of Murfreesboro, NC, and Ashleigh Dunlow and husband, Jacob of Aulander, NC; a grandson, Ricky Bradley and fiance’, Erica of Greenville, NC; and four great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Lemons life will be held at a later date in Hilo, Hawaii.
