CONWAY, NC – Kathleen Francis Johnson walked peacefully away with God on December 1, 2017.  A devoted Christian, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and business woman, she had been preceded in death by her husband, Russell Hagood Johnson, Jr. and parents, Marshall and Nettie Brittle Francis.

Her survivors include children, Russell Hagood Johnson, III, Michael Francis Johnson and wife Kathleen, and Rebecca Sue Johnson Godwin and husband, Howard;  grandchildren, Michael Bryant Johnson and wife, Angie, Ryan Godwin and wife, Jaclyn, Christopher Godwin, Kendra Godwin Smith and husband, Matthew, and Ashley Johnson Scandariato and husband, Mike.

The family will be receiving friends at their home on 221 Garriss Street, Conway.

A Service of Remembrance celebrating the life of Mrs. Johnson was held at Conway Baptist Church, Conway on Monday, December 4, 2017. Burial will followed in the Town of Conway Cemetery.

The family has requested that anyone wishing to share a gift in memory of Mrs. Johnson, please do so to the Woman’s Missionary Society or to the Organ Fund at Conway Baptist Church.
