MURFREESBORO – The Brady C. Jefcoat Museum of Americana invites everyone to attend an “Open House” from 5-7 p.m. on Nov. 10 to showcase a beautiful collection of Watt Pottery that has been donated by Doctors Chris and Linda White, the President and First Lady of Chowan University. This collection contains over 250 pieces of Watt Pottery.

The Whites spent decades seeking more and more additional items of this sought after and valuable pottery. The Jefcoat Museum is very thankful for this most generous gift and wishes to take this opportunity to share it with the public.

The pottery is on display in the Home Economics Building located on the Jefcoat Museum Campus at 201 West High Street, Murfreesboro. Doctors Chris and Linda White will be on hand to greet attendees and will tell how they came to love this beautiful pottery and why they chose the Jefcoat Museum to become the permanent home of the collection.

Light refreshments will be served while attendees enjoy viewing the collection and visiting with the Whites.

Shown here is just a small sampling of the 250 pieces of Watt Pottery that will be on display at Murfreesboro’s Brady C. Jefcoat Museum of Americana.
