AHOSKIE, NC – Clay Stuart Vann, age 81, passed away on July 21, 2017 at the Accordius Health at Creekside Care of Ahoskie, NC.

Mr. Vann was born in Northampton County on November 4, 1935, a son of the late Henry Clay and Lou Wynn Beale Vann. He was a member of Early’s Baptist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his cousins, Ann Beale Joyner and husband, Alvin, and Jean Beale Burgess and husband, Lloyd of Ahoskie, NC, Betty Beale Cooke and husband, John of Burlington, NC, Betty Shackleford of Baden Lake, NC, Betty Steele of Colonial Heights, VA, Annette Thompson and husband, Monte, and Lisa Perry and husband, Jerry of Harrellsville, NC, and Mike Rountree and wife, Jennifer of Lexington, NC.

A celebration of life graveside service was held on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at the Ahoskie Cemetery, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Jim Skipper officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
