MURFREESBORO – Rev. Dr. Mar Speller, 81, of Murfreesboro, a native of Bertie County, died Saturday, June 24, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at First Baptist Powellsville. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
