NORFOLK, VA – Chester Arthur Twine was born June 19, 1945 in Harrellsville, NC. He was the son of the late Elton and Evelyn Twine. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Andrea Twine, and son, Warren Twine.

He was a truck driver trainer at Wilson Trucking, where he retired after 30 years of service.

He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancée and best friend, Shirley Revere of Norfolk, VA; one brother, Joseph Twine Sr. of Murfreesboro; one sister, Frances Thompson (Robert) of Winton; one son, Blair Twine of Norfolk, VA; two daughters, Deborah Turner of Seattle, WA and Brosha Conaway of Maryland; eight grandchildren; a very dear friend, Octavis Bellamy; and a host nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9^th from 1 pm to 6 pm at Keith Matthews Funeral Home in Norfolk, VA. Home-going services will be held on Monday, April 10^th at 11:00 am at the Keith Matthews Funeral Home chapel. The interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Norfolk, VA.
