Camille B. Soule

WINDSOR – Camille Beasley Soule, wife of Retired Major Dennis Leon Soule, died on March 23, 2017 at the age of 68, surrounded by family and friends. Camille was born on November 9, 1948 in Colerain, North Carolina, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Watford “Nick” Beasley.
Camille graduated for Bertie High School and East Carolina University, where she was a member of the Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, majoring in Special education.
She is survived by her dedicated husband, Dennis; her son, Charles Taylor Spruill, Jr.; her daughter, Claire Hunter Spruill; grandsons, Brooks Beasley Spruill II and Charles “Charlie” Jenkins Spruill and their mother, Elizabeth Jenkins Spruill; step daughter, Stephanie Lynn Soule; step son, Ryan Lee Soule; step grandchildren, Devon Sophia McLean, Savannah Brooks McLean and Patrick Lane Thomas. She was predeceased by a son, Brooks Beasley Spruill.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, Windsor. The Reverend Joe W. Cooper will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at their home.
