GATES – Ralph Milford VanPelt, Jr., 70, of Old Rail Bed Road, Gates, and a veteran of the Vietnam War, died Monday, December 12, 2016 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. At his request, no services will be held. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, assisted the family with arrangements.
