AULANDER, NC – Mr. Daniel W. Miller, age 61, of Aulander, NC passed away Sunday, October 30, 3016 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie, NC.

Danny was born June 30, 1955 in Baltimore, Maryland, the son of the late Daniel Marvin Miller and Elizabeth Reed Miller. He was also predeceased by a son, James Michael Miller; a grandson, Bruce Justin Miller; and a sister, Virginia Brickhouse.

Danny received his Associate Degree in Nursing at Vance-Granville Community College and worked Northside Behavioral Health at Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Vivian Bray Miller; his son, Jeffrey Skye Miller; and three sisters, Joy Cooper, Jody Smith, and Kim Comstock.

A memorial service to celebrate Danny’s life will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Open Arms Church with Rev. Joe Lassiter officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC.
