HARRELLSVILLE, NC – Joseph Arnold Bundy, age 66, passed away on October 22, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Bundy was born in Perquimans County, NC on January 7, 1950, a son of the late John Clive and Mildred Ayscue Bundy. Arnold was a construction worker and a fun loving man who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, raising his chickens, ducks and peacocks, and especially enjoyed a big bonfire.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Annie Turner Bundy; three daughters, Spring Bundy Byrum and husband, Carlos of Windsor, NC, April Lynn Bundy of Windsor, NC, and Carla Byrd Emminizer and husband, Rob of Colerain, NC; two grandsons, Dakota Shane Byrum, and Walter Wayne Emminizer; and two granddaughters, Trinity Blake Byrum, and Amber Frances Byrum. Also surviving are three sisters, Irma Bundy Forbes, Nancy Bundy White and husband, Charlie, and Sally Bundy Garner; three brothers, Johnny Bundy and wife, Linda, and Carroll  Bundy and wife, Carla, all of Hertford, NC, and Thomas Bundy and wife, Trudy of Williamston, NC; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Garrett Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie, NC, with Rev. Greg Hurdle, officiating.
