GATES – June Ellen Epperson, 64, of NC 37 North, Gates, a native of Hertford County, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Down East Health and Rehabilitation Center, Gatesville. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 2, 2016 in her sister’s home, 2704 Horseshoe Drive, Chesapeake, VA. Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, assisted the family with the cremation arrangements.
