COFIELD – Verta Flood James, 87, of Cofield died August 31, 2016 at Down East Health & Rehabilitation Center, Gatesville. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Philippi Baptist Church, Cofield. Burial will be in the Flood Family Cemetery, Cofield. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
