COLERAIN – Levenia Hill Belch, 88, of Hwy 42, Colerain, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at home. She was born in Bertie County on February 13, 1928 to the late Cecil Nathaniel and Ruby Elizabeth White Hill and was predeceased by her husband, Leroy Belch, and a brother, Herbert Hill.

Mrs. Belch was a former farmer and retired cook. She was attended Powellsville Baptist Church and loved her flower garden.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Powellsville Baptist Church by Rev. James Hopkins. Burial will follow in the Colerain Cemetery.

Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth “Lib” Leonard of Madill OK; sons, Jimmy Belch of Colerain, and Larry Wayne Belch of Ocracoke; sisters, Alice White Spruill of Columbia, and Carolyn Faezell of Standardsville, VA; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9th from 7-8:30 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and from her son’s home at 1131 Hwy 42, Colerain, at other times.
