MERRY HILL – Jonathan Britt Smithwick, 97, of US 17 North, Merry Hill, died Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Chowan River Nursing and Rehab Center, Edenton. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Merry Hill Baptist Church. Burial, with Masonic Rites, will follow in Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor. Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, is handling the arrangements.
