WINTON – Marie H. Manley, 80, of Winton, NC peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Down East Nursing Home in Gates County, NC.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, one sister: Doris M. Diggs of Hampton, VA; two sisters-in-law: Avis Manley of Hampton, VA and Naomi Manley of Fredericksburg, VA, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

On Sunday, July 10, 2016, a viewing will be held from 1:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Hunter’s Funeral Home, 123 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive, Ahoskie, NC 27910.

On Monday, July 11, 2016, the viewing will take place from 10:00 am – 11:00 am followed by the funeral service at Phillipi Baptist Church, P. O. Box 5, 550 NC Highway, Cofield, NC 27922 at 11:00 am.

Family and friends will assemble at the church on Monday at 10:30 am.
