NORFOLK, VA – Godwin Alton Mitchell, 82, of Norfolk, VA, formerly of Bertie County, died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2016 in the Rich Square Chapel of Wilder’s Funeral Home, who is handling the arrangements. Burial will be in the Wilder-Cherry Family Cemetery, Aulander.
