AULANDER, NC – Annette Shores Blowe, age 78, passed away on June 1, 2016 at Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital of Ahoskie, NC.

Mrs. Blowe was born in Hertford County, on March 20, 1938, a daughter of the late Garland and Katie Lassiter Shores. She was an active, faithful member of St. Johns Baptist Church and a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 60 years, William Henry Blowe; her daughter, Sandy B. White and husband, Bennett of Winton, NC; two sons, Mike Blowe and wife, Bonnie of Winton, NC, and Tony Blowe of Richmond, VA; her granddaughters, Charli Stanley and husband, Brian, Christy Hawks, Heather Matthews and husband, Jeff, Elizabeth Blowe, and Amanda Harding and husband, Dusty; three great granddaughters and four great grandsons.

The family will receive at the home.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 2:00 pm at the Garrett Sykes Funeral Service, Ahoskie Chapel, with Rev. Woody Copeland and Rev. Jim Skipper, officiating. Burial will follow in Aulander Cemetery.
