AULANDER – Mr. Ora Ray Dunlow, age 82, of Aulander, NC, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, NC.

Mr. Dunlow was born September 11, 1933 in Bertie County, NC, the son of the late Stanley Dunlow and Doris White Dunlow. He was also predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Janice Louise Hurdle Dunlow who passed away just 10 days before Mr. Dunlow; a brother, David Dunlow; and a niece, Lisa Dunlow.

He was a retired master carpenter.

He is survived by his children, Anita Dunlow and her fiancé Neil Ray, Dennis Dunlow, Willis Dunlow, Ronnie Dunlow and his wife Pam and Bobby Dunlow and his wife Shannon; his grandchildren, Dawson Dunlow, Landon Dunlow, Grant Dunlow, Allexis Dunlow, Jennifer Hyatt and Jordan Hyatt; his brother, Jimmy Dunlow and his wife Macy and their children Denise Todd and James Dunlow; and his sisters, Belinda Pritchard and Marie Vaughan and her son Mike Vaughan.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ahoskie Church of God with Rev. Raleigh Johnson and Rev. Taylor Latham officiating. Burial will follow at Job Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander, NC from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
