MURFREESBORO – Ann Vandiford Weathersbee, age 65, of Murfreesboro, passed away on April 10, 2016 at her residence.

Mrs. Weathersbee was born on January 26, 1951 to the late James and Vastia Toler Vandiford in Craven County, NC. Ann worked as a registered nurse before retiring. She was always dedicated to caring for others. Ann, being a Mark Martin fan and after his retirement becoming a Dale Earnhart, Jr. fan, was an avid NASCAR lover, enjoying every chance she had to get to a race. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt.

Ann is survived by her husband, James; her son, Kevin Byrd of Murfreesboro; and two brothers, Mike Vandiford of Pendleton, and Doug Vandiford and his wife Kathy of Ohio.

There will be a private family gathering to celebrate Ann’s life at a later time.
